When we arrived, it was cold and foggy, with a light rain, but that didn't slow us down. We walked around and saw the falls; even though the fog made them hard to see, they were still spectacular. There was still quite a lot of snow and ice.

We rose to see the sun shining. The temperature hit the upper 60s that day. Everything was much more crowded, but the clear weather made up for it. We started our day walking to the Carmelite Monastery, where we toured the chapel and grounds, and finished with a wine tasting.

We walked back to the falls, taking pictures from various vantage points. We also went underneath and behind the falls through the "Journey Behind the Falls" tunnels.

The far end of Niagara Park has a nice greenhouse attraction with indoor exotic plants and miniature houses.

Walking back towards our hotel later in the day, the falls looked even more spectacular, with several rainbows from different angles.

Saturday evening we had dinner in the revolving restaurant at the Skylon Tower, with spectacular views of the falls and of the surrounding area. A rotation took about and hour, and over a nice dinner with a bottle of Chianti we saw the falls three times, including after the sun set and colored spotlights came on. After dinner we went up to the observation deck.

After dinner we headed over to the casino. We couldn't take pictures in the gaming room, which was colossal. Joanne had two big wins on slots, so we didn't end up spending much money.

After a leisurely morning including a sauna, we walked around a bit more. Clouds had moved in, but it was still nice weather and clear enough to see well. We said our goodbyes to the falls, and headed home.
